Hello and welcome to Sonic Substance. A website run by James Preston.

James Preston is a 25 year old pastor with a passion to see the reality of God's Goodness invade this broken world.


He is called to tell the world the Message of the Gospel as it really is: Good News!

James has been married to the beautiful Corinne Preston for 4 years where they both serve on the pastoring team at Highway Christian Community in the beautiful city of Durban, South Africa.

James also hosts a radio show on Durban's Highway Radio where he has had the privilege of interviewing great leaders in ministry today.

Sonic Substance is a project that James has been working on for a while now. At the moment, the primary focus of the website is the Leadership Podcast, a project that came out of an idea James had after interviewing so many influential people on his radio show. He thought that if those interviews could be available on the internet they could be accessed at any given moment by any one around the world. And so the Leadership Podcast was born.

With 6 official Leadership Podcasts already online, the Podcast is fast becoming an asset to those with a passion for the things of God the world over! And with interviews with Jesus Culture and Sean Feucht yet to be uploaded, it can only get better from there.
